Just to let everyone know since someone may find this post in a search in the future. It apparently was the high pressure switch. I had the motor running for a while earlier fixing some TPS and coolant temp issues and doing some testing there and may have just had everything too hot as I went out this morning and the compressor cycled like it was low on freon with all the pressure switches connected so I put 2 more cans for R134 in it and its blowing nice and frigid and the compressor seems to have a nice cycle time to it and the inlet pressure is running around 40psi which the compressor running. So for now I believe this problem is solved.

Thanks to all for your help,
Brian

ahhhh, cooling issues. Started by smelling coolant inside car so I purchased a heater core, sounds easy enough but wow what a job it was. While I was at it I removed radiator to find it had small leak so I replaced it. The space between the radiator and ac condensor was half filled with garbage and leaves. Amazing because I cleaned this out less than a year ago, these cars are literally vacume cleaners. Well, next I replaced o rings in AC unit and charged it, I had replaced AC Unit last year but never got around to fixing leak so it was not working yet. Anyways, fixed that and then, crap low coolant light. Cracked heads and blown head gasket. bad lifters to boot. Honestly I think the small leaks in coolant system was relieveing enough pressure in system to let car run and when everything was tight it showed flaws in my engine. Haha, engine was rebuilt in Tacoma Wa by Waterhouse Motors and Balanced. They went out of business one week prior to me getting to the engine problems. It may have not been there fault anyways, about 2 weeks after rebuild Walts Radiator in Federal Way did a rad check and left cap off for me to drive home. Wow, I could not get car turned off fast enough to coast to side of road. I believe it may be at fault but car showed no real symptoms after this. I think the small leaks in coolant system hid the damage caused.

Do not take coolant issues lightly on these cars,
