Out of the Loop, datalogging Qs
165 with heavily modified code. I haven't been keeping up with the ECM boards. Is Moates software still the best cheap way to datalog - the AutoXray doesn't cut it anymore. What's the cheapest way to get into a cable - is it cheaper to buy the kit from AKM or from Rat shack?
PS - any progress with increasing MAF abilities or working the bugs out of a MAP swap?

Isn't that cable for WinALDL for 160 baud only?
Last I heard, when switching to MAP, you lose mileage displays, have to mess with the VSS, and other little things.

Get a cable from Andy at AKM, he is an awesome guy and makes a great high quality product. He also does all kinds of other custom work to ECM/PCM's :yesnod: :yesnod: He sure was a life saver to me!!!

AKM cable works perfect, dont know about other. there are diagrams on the AKM website for one that will work.
yes, you lose instant mpg, etc. but I wont miss it. VSS...haven't noticed anything weird yet.
