Advice needed for H48 Trouble Code
along with the MAF. All went smooth, but when startting it back up I
had the check engine light on and the cooling fans run all the time.
Checked the codes today and came up with an H48 (MAF Problem) I
had this happen before when I replaced the cam. My friend hooked up
his Snap-on scroll scanner and saw the values for the MAF where
through the roof, he reset it through the scanner and it never cam
back. I tried to reset it by disconnecting the neg on the battery, but it
did nothing and came back on 3 seconds after starting. Replaced the
MAF with a rebuilt A1 from the autoparts store and the light was still
on. I am stumped at this point, any advice would be appreciated!

suggest checking the plug and back track the plug wires -- maybe as far as the ECM (but be sure to pull battery cable if probing wires or pulling ECM connector so as to not damage the ECM).
