I saw this done on Two Guys garrage on the Speed channel. ( formerlly shadetree mechanics) They had a permade wiring harness and everything you need. go to the website and see if you can find previous show listings.
I just converted mine to a First TPI. You will need the TPI and all sensors the computer and wire harness. Acc brackets from an 85 Vette
a way to route the air filter.
A complete waste of money for a very minor gain. TPI also has its restrictions.
For better information than your gonna get here go to http://www.crossfire.homeip.net/
A lot of ways out there to get better gains for less money.
I do not know if i would call it a waste of money. My car runs real well now. It also ran pretty good as a cross fire but the first is a nice improvement.

Assuming more HP is the ultimate goal here for the OP from TPI... then it is.
For a lousy hp gain of 25 hp the OP will have to invest how much?
You can port the CFI intake yourself for zero dollars and have a higher gain than you can achieve from the conversion.
CFI intake below.... left side ported....right side stock. Let the intake breathe and you will have better results than the conversion to TPI

I haven't been there in a long time but there are a great group over there for the Crossfire. I had 2 of them and am still kind of sentimental to them. The L98 is definitely better. But the Crossfire is definitely more unique as it was the only year engine in both the C3 and the C4. Now that I have a C5, the LS1 is a big step up from that But I still love the L98 in the C4. Now the 305 TPI in my Firebird... well I think that could use an upgrade to an LS1. If I don't do that, I'll still keep the TPI look with a bigger motor.... someday $$$
1. Buy a single plane EFI manifold(proproducts or Edelbrock or Holley)
2. Purchase a 4 barell TB unit(sequential nice) or a GM 7.4L TBI unit and remove the pod and injectors.
4. Buy rails and mod fuel lines.
5. Buy EBL-ECU (dynamicefi.com)
Might just fit under stock hood. I think it will.
Dont bother unless you are planning on modifying engine.
You could just order the "renegade intake manifold" from a company called Dynamic Crossfire Solutions. They have designed and intake manifold just for the crossfire engine. There is a preorder going on right now and the intake will be ready and shipped out at the end of august or early september. It will give you just over 40HP at the fly wheel and 33HP at the rear wheels and 18 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels. This is a proven intake and sometimes with the ported intake some people get good results and some people lose power on the bottem end and not much gain on the top end.
