Engine stalling problems
Here's the delima. My '90 w/ L98 will idle fine when in park; but the idle is very rough when in gear, and stalls when the pedal is gas peddle is pressed while in gear. The engine will stall completely out if the gas peddle is predded to WOT while in park; but if I press the peddle, easing into WOT, it will backfire and eventually stall out completely.
I have installed a new fuel pump and inline filter. Swapped the TPS with a known good TPS. Checked for vacuum leaks spraying carb cleaner on the vacuum hoses and didn't find any leaks. A Snap-On scanner didn't show any codes.
At this point, I'm not sure what else to do. Any info on how to get this problem troubleshot would be greatly appreciated!
