Default Question for PeteK

Pete, is there anything in a Vette 700R4's front pump or torque converter that could squeak? I've got the darndest situation with my
'87 El Camino, I have a Vette 700R4 in it and it has developed a squeak that can be heard in different positions and no one can pinpoint exactly where it's coming from but it is near the front of the trans. You can hear it clearly both under the car and in the engine compartment with it being maybe a bit louder under the car. Now, here's the kicker, it only squeaks at around 650-700 rpm and disappears completely if you raise the rpm's. Sometimes it never squeaks. I could go on and on about everything I have tried but all I really need from you is in the question in the first line of this post.

I'd take a good look at the flywheel to see if its cracked around the bolt flange. I've heard cracked flywheel/flex plates make a chirping squeaking sound at low RPM's
