Default Throttle position sensor

my 93 had been "jerky" when accelerating, not much but just a noticeable tiny amount, and I'm a sensitive guy LOLLL. Plus, when I was in a high gear but travelling slowly so rpm was like 1300 or so, I'd get what felt like an ignition miss or "stumble".

Changed the TPS and the jerkiness and "miss" are gone, plus when I took off from a stop a few minutes ago and nailed it, I heard the tires screeeech on dry pavement. Never heard that before. That tps is only a potentiometer and anyone who's ever turned the volume control on an old radio knows those potentiometers can wear and make static noise. With age the resistance is not linear over the range of travel.

I had no codes tripped, only changed the TPS on a hunch. Good expenditure of $ 34. Genuine GM part number 17106680 for the 93 model.

One can only wonder how many postings relating to stumble can derive from an old TPS.
