Changing idler pulley?

Remove belt then remove the breaker bar.
Remove the bolt holding the tentioner assembly from the engine bracket. The wheel and spring tentioner come off as a unit. You may have to feel for this bolt as its off to the side and hidden from view by the power steering pulley assembly.
I asked Chevy for the price of just the new wheel, but they only sell the wheel with the spring tentioner assembly for something like $75. The parts guy recommended Autozone or similar parts place to get just the wheel. I reinstalled the original and left it alone for now.
