POR15 Wheel clearcoat
Has anyone tried POR15 clearcoat Glisten ? Its a two part clear that supposed to be crystal clear rock hard. I'm going to strip my wheels, polish them and try it. The manufacturer says it can be brushed or sprayed. If brushed, it is claimed it won't leave brush marks.

Never tried it. I'm about to switch to 11" wheels in the rear and when I do, I'm taking all four of my wheels to a great body shop here in town. I'm having them apply SEVERAL clear coats to the wheels. I want them as shiny as possible. It's not very expensive, and your sure to get a proffessional job. I don't trust myself with clear-coating. :)

I've used their regular POR 15 coating that makes the same claims. It really did flatten out nicely with no brush strokes.
I slapped some on an old gas tank (put too much in places) and you could see the drips everywhere. I think if you are careful and don't apply too much it will be OK.
