You can use an aftermarket ****, but the threads and adapters are too small. I used a Hurst pistol grip, drilled out the threads and screwed it onto the stick. It fits my hand like a glove and is one of my favorite mods that I have done to my car. With a little work...you can go aftermarket.
I found a few shifter ***** at Ecklers and a couple other places. No one has the button that goes on top of the shifter ****. Corvette America referred me to a salvage place that deals with Corvettes. They can sell me the whole shifter...**** and button included for $350. Ouch!

The switch is like $11 at radio shack and other electronic suppliers. You'll just have to desolder the existing one and solder it to the new one. It's simple. You can also easily transplant the button from your existing **** to a knew one easily. Just be really gentle and pry up GENTLY with a small flathead screwdriver. Seriously... be gentle. You're dealing with 20+ year old plastic and if you gorilla it off I guarantee you'll snap the plastic tangs holding it on.

I recall that back in 2001 when scorp508 was helping me with my 4+3 , the button was a very rare NOS item ocassionaly found on the back shelf of some dealership.
The aftermarket has not come to the party on this one

I bought a new one from Ecklers a couple years ago (at least I thought I did). They don't list one now?
