how to ID a dana 44?

Default how to ID a dana 44?
what is the easiest way to tell a dana 44 from a 36 while it is still in the car? :chevy :chevy

If you look at the back of the case this is the bolt pattern for a Dana 44. Sorry I didn't take of shot of the pattern of the 36 to do a side by side. If your bolt pattern is different than this you have a 36 I guess.
