Default Rebuidling Roller Rockers?

I've got the CC steel full roller rockers. I know they can be rebuilt.
Has anyone every had to do this? If so how many miles did they get before they did it?

Thanks

Short of a race engine or one you grenade, you'll never need to rebuild them.

Comp Cams may be able to do it for you. There are a lot of needle bearings in a roller rocker.

Harlan Sharp rebuilds theirs. The service is $80 and they make sure the rockers are as strong as when new.

Comp charged me $80 when I had mine rebuilt....after I dropped a valve in 2004.

As I mentioned above, they should never need rebuilding except in extreme circumstances.

Thanks, I was hoping that was the case. I saw a CC rep at Bristol last year and he told me they needed to be rebuilt every 15,000 miles. That did not make since to me seeing that GM was putting aluminum full roller rockers in factory engines. He even said the new aluminums they make, that they advertise with a lifetime warranty, needed to be rebuilt. That makes no since at all. I was changing valve guide seals a few weeks back and they seemed fine. I now have around 15K on them.

Sounds like CC is trying to pump up business.

Most stock engines that use roller rockers usually have a lot less spring pressure and wear on them, probably why they last longer.
