Valves arrived !!
My next LT-1 heads will run valves from the 2002 LS6.
I just finally received the intakes 12565311 from

No problem with that vendor, good guy.
These hollow-stem intakes, 2.00", weigh just 73 grams, the sodium-filled exhaust valves, 1.55", weigh 65 grams. (Stock LT4 valves weigh 85g int., 75g exh. and stock LT-1 valve weights are 110 g for intake and 95 g for exh.)
Next is to pop out the old iron guides, punch some bronze ones in and ream em, cut the seats, and a little port work. Springs to be LS6 also.
Man o man, those valves feel light.
The intakes are interesting, the backcut isn't machined but appears rough.
