Default Trick Flow as cast heads LT1

1996 LT1 A4/2800 stall with 3.07 gear

What kind of approximate power can I expect from these with a 223/230 .565/.565 112 LSA cam?

flow #s for them out of the box

Lift Intake Exhaust
.100 65 54
.200 138 117
.300 202 162
.400 243 189
.500 270 197
.600 273 209

The bottom end is staying stock. I have CC 1.6 Pro Mag rockers and Stainless Works headers into Corsa already. I have the baby Dana so my goal is somewhere just shy of 400 rwhp and still be emissions and street friendly but get down the track a little quicker.

I don't know how emissions and street friendly that cam would be. I would look into the TPiS ZZ409 (226/.554)cam or the LPE 219 (219/.560). With an open exhaust on a NA motor there is no reason for a split cam and the heads should be good for 400hp. I've owned both the old trick flow genX heads and the AFR heads. The quality of the AFRs are far better then the GenX to me the TFs were just stock LT4 heads. I've not seen the new 21 heads to know if the CNCed them or keep them as cast.

Check with Elliot Portworks, he's done alot of LTX F bods around here and they run strong. He has head and cam packages, ports the bejesus out of stock heads on an exchange basis. He's a member here too. The guys at advance induction can get you a nice set up too and get you where you want to go. Bobmic93 has a NICE 350 AI set up.

p.s. if you want the heads from summit let me know I can probably get you a deal on them.

Thanks JD
I have looked at Lloyds site and really hard at his LT1-LE2 package. Advanced Induction is just a 2 hour drive from here in Concord. Nice stuff coming out of there!
Thanks also for the offer I'm still planning so not in a really big hurry.

I like new stuff. It takes a lot of time and effort for someone to port, grind seats, replace valve guides, grind valves and set springs. Time costs money. When you buy new, you get the above + new springs + new retainers. My 2 cents.....
