Center console lights
My center dash lights keep blowing the 5 amp fuse. They are the lights that light up the various buttons and the radio lights. All these lights work off the dimmer switch. The speedometer lights work OK. Before I started working and looking, I thought I would ask if anyone else has experienced this. The Vette is a 94. This problem just started. Thanks.

You will have to look for a short circuit causing the fuse to blow. DO NOT install a larger current fuse!!!!!!!!! Most likely a wire on this circuit has insulation abraded and is touching ground or a wire is pinched and the insulation cut into and shorted to ground. You really need the electrical diagnosis manual which shows all the things powered by that fuse and which devices can be unplugged so you can unplug all of them and plug in one at a time to find which circuit is shorted.
