Default Front lift

I have a 86 and I was wondering if anybody has any idea on how to lift the front 1 or 2 inches. I just want a little more clearance on the air scoop. I have it just about rubbed off.

Default re raising front suspension

Hi
You can put shims in the spring mounting under the engine crossmember
However that may give you a quarter of an inch tops ... I got sick of trying different leaf springs and got some koni adjustable coil overs .. the ride improvement is amazing and less tyre wear .
Now i can set the ride hight however i want and the car is flater around corners .. reduces body roll as well with the multiple settings avail
Go for it you wont regret it

just cut an inch off the air scoop.Last time my car was on a lift I used my mechanics whiz wheel and cut about one inch off my front air deflector. I used masking tape and a white grease pen to make a one inch mark on the deflector for a straight cut.
