I have an exhaust leak, sounds like header gasket, on driver side on my 92 lt1. What is involved in this repair or could it be something else. i was told recently that those manifolds tend to blow out the 2,3 ports on that side. (i dont know the exact number but the two middle ones) any help would be appreciated before i start tearing into it.

Header gasket on driver side is easy.
just move the ASR, unbolt the couple of support brackets, unbolt the header, move it a little, pull the old one out, put the new one in and bolt it all back up.
Not a lot of torque on the bolts, I found a combo gear wrench was easiest.
You may need to pull the plugs as well.
thanks man, it didnt look that complicated. i thought maybe id have to remove the alternator maybe. Have you heard of anyone having exhaust leak issues in that area?
