Default injector size help

I'm building a 383 stroker engine with procomp aluminum heads (190cc), hedman shorties, edelbrock IM base and runners, and a cam with 490 degrees of lift...

I bought a set of 36 lb. injectors, and after speaking with the guy from summit, he thought I was crazy (which may be the case ). I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and I'm going to get a chip burned...I was wondering if that would be too much injector, or could it be managed with the afpr.

I know you can tune to a point, but I didn't realize stock was only 22lb, so I bought way too big.

Should I buy another set (if so, what size would you recommend), or can it work with these?

thanks a lot guys

Yeah 36 lb injectors are probably a little too big. You'd be better off with something around 24-30. You could keep the injectors and put a bigger cam in

I am very interested in how this combo will perform. I have yet to hear of anyone putting the Procomp heads on a TPI, and it sounds like you have your cam size about right for this combo. 30 # injectors would be as high as I would go. Please keep us informed when you get it running, sounds like a winner to me.
