I contacted the guy back about his 383 engine swap.
We have done 30+ engines for the late model Corvettes. The options I listed are needed in order for the engine to fit correctly in the chassis. We have done mild to wild and even blown setups for the Vette. This setup will also work if you have a standard transmission with the dual mass flywheel. The chip is what makes it all come together smoothly. We have intake manifold and injector upgrades as well. Let me know when you are ready to get it started.
I still need to figure out if the mpg calculations are right after putting in my 30# injectors. I would hope the computer would calculate it correctly based on the injector constant I programmed into the computer.
That is interesting, where in the world would it get it's reading of exactly how much fuel is being burned. The mileage is easy, but I have no idea where it get's it's fuel info from. If you find out, let me know. I upgraded mine to 24 lb SVO's over the stock injectors which for my year are 22's. I'm pretty sure it still works right though, or my mileage is REALLY crappy.
The way I drive I tend to get an average of around 12-13 or so thinks the computer. However if the computer thought it was using less fuel than it really is, wouldn't it's calculations be higher than what I'm really getting?
I didn't notice any change in mileage when I went to the 24's. I'd say it looks at your fuel maps and determines it from that, thus it would always be correct.
