You will spend a boatload to buy everything new, best bet is to find someone taking thier's out, and buy eveything from them. Be sure to find an honest seller who didn't just decide to strip it when it quit working.
In some of your posts you talk about a 95 corvette.
I believe that AC was standard on a 95 corvette..
So what year vette is this?
...If its the 1995 is your question actually how much to fix AC?
Did someone remove the AC if so which pieces......if they went so far as to gut the interior AC equipment it probably would be better choice to find decent C4 and part yours out because who knows what else was hacked up.

Add in labor, R12 refrigerant and the total should be around $3000. Most AC shops will order and install all the parts needed for them to warranty their work so, the cost will be significantly higher.
you should not have an AC button. I have a 94 and it does not have an AC button, you set the temperature to 60* hit the auto button and assuming you have all the AC components you should be blowing cold. Do you know if you have an AC compressor under the hood... It should be right next to the alternator with two metal hoses connecting into it.
I did set the temp. to 60 and press auto...but the wind, or fan, was just blowing - I didn't feel no temp. change. If my AC is not working, how much approx. will it costs to fix it?

depends, with your hood up and the temp set to 60* do you hear a clicking noise at regular intervals... if so your compressor probably works and you just need to recharge the AC system with a bottle of r-134 which you can get at kragen/autozone for cheap.

Try pushing the recirc button and the fan speed to ten and temp down arrow until it gets as cold as possible and see if it changes anything. Auto and Auto with a cold temp selected should work too. The climate control system on the 95 is over engineerig with sun load sensors, and other such crap and there are vacuum lines involved too. So if it still doesnt work, no one can give you a good estimate until you do a little trouble shooting. But just saying my corvette doesn't have AC how much to add one is just asking for a good fleecing by an unscrupulous mechanic.
If ac is not kicking in with temp set as low as it can go check your AC charge pressure its simple and the easiest thing to do after seeing if the vents shift from defrost, panel, floor, bilevel etc......
It doesn't sound like you're very mechanically inclined so, you should take your Vette to a shop that specializes in AC repair and have them do the diagnosis and repairs.
It'll save you a lot of time, money and frustration in the long run.
