OBD-I reader doesn't work.

OBD-I reader doesn't work.
I got an OBD-I & II reader for testing my cars. The reader works okay on my wife's OBD-II car, but when I plug it into my '93 LT-1 (an OBD-I) it doesn't read a thing.
Somewhere in the FSM it said that the problem may be that my "ign-3" fuse may be blown; however, I have looked at the fuse box on the passenger side of the interior, and the two fuse boxes in the engine compartment by the battery and I cannot find a fuse labeled "ign-3".
Oh, and that seems to be the only mention of "ign-3" in the FSM; at least as far as the index goes.
Any ideas?

If possible try it on another similar car, that should verify it is not communication problem unique to your vehicle, good luck.
