Charge the battery up with a battery charger. Disconnect the neg cable and connect an ammeter between the cable and the battery post. After the courtesy lights time out, switch down your VOM (voltmeter, ohmeter, milliameter) to lower full scale current and measure the leakage current. GM says leakage current should not exceed 50 milliamps. At night connect the battery up and look for underhood lights, vanity mirror lights, map light in the rearview mirror, door map lights, and the center console lights. Do you have a CB, GPS, radar detector, aftermarket alarm or radio or audio amplifier? Check em. You can install your ammeter and pull fuses one at a time and watch the ammeter to find the offending circuit.
Battery showed 1 volt when I unhooked it a few minutes ago. It's not showing too much promise on the charger It is less than a year old, but it is a WallyWorld battery....
Never had this problem before. The only thing I have done recently is replace the horn fuse(behind the DIC), attempt (once again) to get the digidash working, and bypass the start enable switch on the clutch. Fully charged two days ago.
