Reason: missed work
You can find a lot of things to do in order to get some extra ponies out of it.
Best bang for your buck is to port the crossfire intake. It came direct from GM about 40% smaller than the head ports. Port em and let it breathe
Intake and exhaust will bump nicely. If still not enough roller rockers 1.6, fuel preasure bump (9-13 lbs.) mine is at 11 constant. There are guys here who have done some wonderful bumps and can probably give you better details on higher bumps if you need them.
Good luck,
Woody
With my crossfire I did all the popular engine mods, 375 rear a looser convertor. I drove it about 2 yrs that way. It was quick but not quick enough. I pulled my crossfire engine out & placed it on engine stand. I then built a carbed 434SBC.& dropped it in car.It runs great all the power I wanted for a while. Now I want a more. If you truly want a lot of power get more brakes.
Dynamic crossfire solutions, is building a new intake for the crossfire engine, it will be completed by late september. It gives you an extra 33 rear wheel horsepower. And add some 3.54 or 3.73 rear gears and a looser converter if automatic and a 125 hp shot of NOS and it should hit the 12's.
