COOLANT SMELL INSIDE THE 92!!!!
Anyone have a detailed proceedure on replacing the heater core?
I have a Haynes manual but just like everything in it (remove part
replace part) not very detailed. I have a GM manual for the 86, but
have not found one for the 92.

might want to disconnect the heater core before it decides to dump coolant all over the passenger side floorboard, at least thats what mine did.

Thanks for for the input guys, I am going to bypass the core before
I drive it again. I just put new carpet in and don't want it soaked with
coolant. :nonod:

I have the helms manuals for a 92. Let me check on my lunch hour and if gives more than remove/replace, I'll copy the pages and illustrations and Fax them to you if you provide your fax number.

I've got the genuine GM factory service manauls. I can check on them for you, but it'll be after I get home, around 5 or so.
