How do you reset Down shift cable linkage
I Have installed a Hyperchip so where should I set the downshift cale full open throttle position. please advise, vette running abit sluggish

First of all you shouldn't have wasted your money on the Hypertech chip, Secondly the chip would not affect the downshift. However to answer your question, where the cable attaches to the bracket look for the "D" shaped button on the side of the largest area of the cable, push this in while pushing the very tip of the black housing back into the main housing. Then open the throttle wide open, (with the engine off of course) and the center piece will "ratchet out to the proper setting. Have someone press the accelerator all the way to the floor and check to see if it is opening the throttle all the way, if it isn't then you will have to correct that and do the above mentioned procedure over again.
