Hi all,
While most of the car is apart and I have a new set of Hooker shorties and a 3" B&B system coming I thought it might be a good time to replace the cats too. After much searching, I came across these for a high flow direct fit cat. http://www.easterncatalytic.com/prod...erformance.php. Has anyone used this company? I know the favorite seems to be RT cats but I'mm looking for an inexpensive direct bolt on cat that has the proper O2 fittings in (1 on left, 2 on right).
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks
Peter
I installed a set of these converters a couple of weeks ago, they seem to work just fine and I haven't had any isssues. Online price was 167.95 + shipping each side, but I called Eastern, told them I was in a bind and was there any distrubutor that they could guide me to, which they did and my cost ended up being 144.00 ea. So far so good, but I've only been using them for a couple of weeks.

What vendor did they direct you to? They directed me to dropshipparts.com and the price is higher ($170).
How was the install and build quality compared to stock?
Eagle Muffler Supply in the Gary/Hammond/East Chicago area. I had to pick them up. I actually had Merlin muffler install the cats, they charged me 300.00 labor, 150 a side. It took them about 4 hrs total, but only because they broke a bolt.
