I've seen the numerous Dana 44 conversions, but just out of curiosity..has anyone fabricated a 9 inch rear into their car? I imagine it'd be one large, and really fun project, but if it could be done, I'd love to through a strange 9 inch back their with some Mosier axles :D . Lol but i'll probaly just go Dana 44. This post is just mostly out of curiosity.
The rear suspension was completely custom fabricated, except for the main Ford housing. (banjo).I used mostly Strange parts, axles (35 spline),shock/coilovers ,brakes and aluminum center section.I had a drive shaft made locally with 1350 yoke and joints. The drive shaft was easy and relatively inexpensive.
The stout rear is the foundation for my future plans :yesnod:

John, thanks for your praise. You are right though, one must see it in person to really get an appreciation of the fabrication work.
All the brackets, housing tubes, track locator,4-link bars and cross member are all custom built.
Hope to see you and the NE guys this year.
