So i checked for codes and...
I checked for codes using the sequenced method on the speedometer. i need help, heres what happened..
- module 1 showed C12 then three dashs
-it went through the rest of the modules showing dashes only
-it then got to module 1.0 and it wouldnt do anything else. i sat there for a few minutes and still nothing.
What could that mean and what is module 1.0?

Good news -- you don't have any errors (DTC's - diagnostic trouble codes).
The C12 is the normal 'no code' indicator for the CCM (central control module).
the '---' is the normal 'no code' for all the other 'modules'.
The 1.0 display is the result of now being in 'diagnostic' mode, where you can use some of the features of the CCM (e.g. display its inputs or cycle its outputs).
Once you get to the 1.0, you would normally just turn off the key and remove the jumper (paper clip) -- and smile as you have no errors
