Default Torx bolts resource?

Anyone know a good source for these Torx bolts off of the L98 TPI systems?

I would email or call www.Vette2Vette.com.

They should have a lot of those torx bolts in good condition and they're very nice to deal with.

Stainless steel torx set are sold on ebay. If you ever strip out those safety torx on the fuel pressure regulator go to your local hobby store and they will have allen head screws that fit. Lesson I learned a year ago. Those safety torx are junk after 20 years.

I would try the dealer. I plan on stopping by to get new bolts for my EGR pipe. I figured since I have it off and the bolts are all rusted, I'd go ahead and spend $5 and replace them all.

I am willing to bet the dealer will want $5 for each bolt. They dont call them stealerships for nothing.

Good guess, GM list price is $4.67 For the OP if you are interested forum vendor GMPD sells them for less, the part number is 14081014, if you prefer to look on E-bay or locally (my local ACE Hardware has a good selection in stainless) the size is M8X1.25X30.

Actually, it ended up being around $1.60 each. You have to buy them in a pack of 5 though. Those are the bolts for the EGR tube. I figured I might as well since they are all rusted out.

But you are right, there are several bolts that are like $5+ for each.

You did good. I was generalizing. I have paid $5 for a single bolt before though. Will not do it again for sure.

I replaced all of my torx with allen heads and combined with a ball end allen wrench the bolts are so much easier to install. Check the phone book for a bolt/fastener store like Fastenal. I paid under $10 to replace all of my plenum, runner, and throttle body bolts with stainless allens.

A well stocked ACE Hardware has been able to handle all my fastener needs, metric and SAE, including torx head; prices seem to be reasonable

Are all those bolts on the car like that just regular bolts? I figured they might have to be a certain hardness, but I guess not?
