He heh. My bad. I meant iron or aluminum, but I was typing faster than by brain thinks...which is sad because I type slowly.

I have an ADS chip (actually 2) for 85 auto's if you would like to try one of them. I will give one to you cheap if you would like. One is the thermo type which requires the 160 degree stat and the other doesn't require the lower thermostat. Don't know if they will work with an 86 but I think it should as we have the same engine and tranny.

Cool. Id be more than happy to try it since I have to get near the ECM to find the stupid horn relay. If it works, we can work something out. The ADS chip I got from Caseyc I ended up giving to a friend with an auto 88 vert. Thanks Caseyc for the chip.

I have it at my appartment as we speek so let me know when you are starting you search for the relay. I will bring it to you or meet you somewhere. I think I could be of some help finding that relay to if interested. If I remember correctly its a cream colored relay up next to the ecm.

I dont work friday so I may be outside taking apart my dash. I'll give you a call if I decide to yank the puppy apart. Id like to reinstall a 160 in mine for the upcoming summer.
