I am building an engine soon, in about 3 months or so, while I am at school. I am going to UTI, Universal Technical Institute. It's an auto tech school for those who don't know. Anyways, I am getting from the subject like I do sometimes. I will finish installing my Nitrous system tomorrow, and was wondering what internals I should use for the next engine. I will be building a 383 or maybe a little bit bigger. What should I use that is bullet proof an can handle well over a 200 shot?
I am definitly using forged, but was looking for a specific brand that has worked well for others. There are tons out there and am trying to narrow it down a bit.
The cool thing about UTI, is that the school takes students to the drag strip to run their cars. When I was up there, I saw a lot of stangs that I would like a shot at.
I like Callies cranks and rods, as you can see in my sig. Just about every other crank on the market except callies is made by the same crank company, so they are all alike. JE pistons do really well on n20 as well. I built my motor for nitrous.
