Default Need help with ECM mounting

Just bought my first corvette, a 1992 convertible. The ecm has apparently been changed, it is silver metal looking with fins. The mounting bracket is a nearly round arm. The ecm does not connect to it. Am I missing a part or will this ecm not mount to this bracket?

Can you email me some pics of your ECM and the bracket? My email add is rffemt808@hotmail.com I have a extra mounting bracket I would sale, but want to make sure thats what you need. It almost sounds like some one put a later ECM in it. Because all the 92-93 ECMs that I've seen and have are black. What is the part number on your ECM??
I have a 1985 and a 1992 Corvette. LOVE EVERY MIN OF THEM!!! You will to!! Welcome to the club

As noted I suspect someone has installed a PCM from a later car which is a completely different style and mounting .Yours should look and mount like this.

Mine does not look like that. I think it is a later unit.

Yours looks like this?

Anything could have happened.
Someone might have installed an engine and wiring from a later car; they may have installed the later electronic gearbox which requires the later computer to control it

Tried three times. The link from the other response to one for sale on ebay looks like the one in my car. Sorry about the pictures not going through.

You would need to get the PCM mount from a '94+ Vette

Is it as simple as removing my bracket and installing a later model one in the same holes or would changing the ecm be a better option?

The later PCM has completely different wiring and plugs to the early ECM.
Is not a plug in swap
