The Vette is again having problems. When I start it, it is about 1200 rpm.
I put it in gear and it goes to about 900 to 1000. After 5 minutes, it goes down further. When I use the brakes to slow down for a red light, it stalls out. I restart it but need to keep my feet on the gas and brake to keep it from stalling. I got home and the temp was about 212 it wanted to stall and the service engine soon light came on. I started this morning with no service light on and the idle after a 5 minute ride was 1400. Workers said the engine don't sound good. Any ideas.

I agree on checking for vacuum leaks. Temp of 212 is not out of the ordinary as long as your fans are kicking on as they should. I'd also be checking the Throttle Position Sensor, minimum idle setting and the Air Idle Control.
