I remember reading a thread for rebuilding the tire sensors inside the wheels fot the LTPWS. It even had pictures. Now I can't find it. Its not in tech tips. Any help?
Did you do a search on "LTPWS"? I would like to know as well, my LTPWS service light is coming on now....I'm thinking about just taking out the fuse for it. The down side is that fuse is for the cruise control as well.

If the fuse also controls cruise, wouldn't it be easier to just disconnect the bulb so the light doesn't come on? or is it more complicated than that?

You're right, you can do that as well. It's just quicker doing the fuse instead of taking off the panels. I don't use cruise control enough to worry about it..but if you're one that uses it a lot I would go a head and take out the bulb.
Yes, you can remove the bulb...which is probably what I'll do. After some testing this spring, I may remove the sensor and see if I can rebuild it. If not, I'm not going to spend a bunch of money on new sensors, so I'll just remove the bulb.
