Default Climate Control - Auto

Just had the spark plugs and wires replaced in my 1994 corvette. The mechanic disconnected the battery while he performed the job. The car runs great, however now the Auto button for the fan speed on the climate control no longer works. I can get AC by increasing the fan speed using the manual buttons; however when I press the Auto fan speed button the fan speed goes to 0. Is there a way to get the Auto button to work again? Thanks…

I would try disconnecting the negative cable for about one minute, make sure the key is in the off position, then reconnect. I know the control head in my 93 gets scrambled at times when charging or disconnecting the battery, the reset procedure above normally cures it.
