Default clutch talk

As i am getting ready to finish my 383, I am wondering what clutch I should get.

I was planning on just buying an oem replacement, but at this point I should atleast consider aftermarket upgrades. I going to use the stock 88 flywheel that has been resurfaced.

So I my questions are how much tq and hp can the stock clutch hold and what would be a suitable upgrade?

Here are my footnotes: My car has 21,xxx miles on it with about 10K on LPE 383 I just replaced my clutch with a SPEC Stage 2+ and I got a alum. flywheel. I also got 3.73s in the rearend. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! Car is now breaking the tires loose in 2nd gear around 40mph which it didn't do before...I have about 300 miles on the clutch now and so far I'm happy. If I can rack up a couple hundred more, I'm off to the dragstrip! SPEC was very easy to deal with when I called and I called everyone so of whom didn't get back to me and some who seemed like I needed to kiss their @$$ to buy their product.

I heard from here on the forum that 450 hp is about max. Couple that with big slicks and it won't last very long. Oh wait, that's for the dual mass flywheel that is on 91 and newer 6 speeds. sorry
