Default electrical confusion on 88

OK, I have not driven her in a few days because I need to take off the drivers door panel and see what I can do to fix the always fun window regulator... So I fired her up last night to give her a run, and get a new problem:

Many of the lights suddenly dont work... The digidash is fine, so are the headlights, turn signals, and brake lights. The map lights on the doors work fine, as well as the vanity light on the sun visor. The map light on the rear view mirror and the light in the center console even work. What doesnt: parking lights, illumination for the radio buttons (time/station is ok) the little light for the console, the illumination for the display switches, wiper control lights etc. Even the fog lights are out. I checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine, what the heck is going on? Anyone have a similar problem? Could a wire have come lose? What one wire would give juice to all those separate items, but not affect what is still working? Very frustrating!

Sounds like the light switch isn't working.
