'92 Idle Problems
I'm having a problem with the idle of my '92 LT-1 6-speed manual. While driving and coming to a stop the idle will sometimes jump up to 1200-1500 rpm and won't go down. Sometimes it goes as high as 2000-2500 rpm. Kind of sucks when you are stuck in traffic. Usually it will drop back down to normal after about 10-15 minutes. Other times it will be running fine, stop at a store, and when I restart the car it is instantly at 2000-2500 rpm. Anybody have any ideas. Thanks.
