Default Clutch Recomendations

Hey guys,

I just went to sacramento raceway last night with a new set of drag radials. The first pass i made was a 12.22 @ 124 2.01 60 ft. The tires didn't slip at all so the next run i did abit more of a burnout in the box and dropped the clutch from about 4k off the line and the clutch just slipped the whole way down. Results on the run were 12.87 @ 115. I have a centerforce DF in it right now thats not very old so i obviously need somthing better than that. My car is a 87 with a procharger making 520 rwhp. Thanks for any advice.

You need M'cloud Street Twin clucth. rated for 1200hp and clutch pedal pressure is almost like stock. I had used this clutch and love it. Grab like monster. I dare you drop this 4000rpm and luanch it, you will soon find out your other leak links.

The McLeod twin disk is the end all clutch for the ZF cars. I run this clutch in my '87 with the ZF, and can attest to it's strength after many 9 sec passes.

However, you may be needing a different set-up, as you are probably running the DN4+3 in your '87.

My car did have the doug nash 4+3 in it, but that expired many moons ago. I bought and installed richmond's 6 speed replacement for it. So the bellhousing and clutch are still the 10 3/4" setup used with the DN. Does Mcleod make a setup that will fit the bill.

Thanks
