IMO I don't know why anyone would go to a carb setup when a carb is not as efficient as injectors. What you should ? is what you intend to do with the car? Is it a cruiser, autox, drag strip, or track car. The TPI intake is restrictive, but only past 5,500 rpm. The benefit of the TPI intake is the toque boost it provides. A different set up available is the mini ram which shortens the runner length and makes it possible to keep making power past 6,000 rpm. Do your research before spending a lot of useless dollars on building up your engine. You'd be surprised how much power you can extract from that L98 without spending thousands of dollars.

I have a superram on mine, but they are a little hard to find. You'll need to do something because a 383 will stop making power at around 4000 rpm with a stock intake.

Depends on what you want out of the car, see my website (click name) and think about a plan before you spend money.
