I bought the replacement for my 89 at Carquest. Around $160 if I recall. Two long extensions with a wobble end worked really well for getting at the mounting studs. I also had to take off the bar attached to the brake pedal to get at the clevis pin that connects it to the brake booster shaft. It took a bit of adjustment to get the bar back on just right (brake lights were continually on and the cruise control wouldn't engage since it thought the brake pedal had been pushed in).

....ya can't screw around with no brakes or insufficient braking...simply go to your local parts house and buy another booster...just decide if you want a plastic or metal one...
