I believe 88-09 are all about the same offset and lug patteren. The first years had the same lug patteren but had a 0mm normal rear wheel drive off set. In other words if you put the newer 86+ wheels on an 84 you would need spacers, and if you put the older wheels on a newer car they would be skated
'84-'87 factory wheels interchange and '88-'96 interchange. The only exception is that '90-'95 ZR1 (11 inch wide) rears can go on '84-'87 without spacers.
A late wheel on an early car will be too far in, and an early wheel on a late car will stick out too much.
I also think the 84 to 87 wheels interchange and the 88 to 96 interchange like stated by others above.
I think the 88 16" wheel will have an offset to fit on 88 to 96 cars, but the big brakes 95, 96 and optional 94 may be too big for the 16". I have a set of these and they fit on my base brake 94.
