Default ASR Problem

Finally determined that my reduced MPH and ET problems at the track on my 94 LT1 is because of the Service ASR light staying on. Even with the ASR off it still is a problem. ASR OFF light goes out going down the track which means the ASR is back on.

What makes the problem even stranger is that on the dyno with ASR OFF there has been no change in HP/TQ. Another crazy spin to this is that my 60' time has not been affected. When I shift into 2nd and have a little spin, it must be causing the problem.

Have read all the old threads on possible fixes to the Service ASR problem. Since the car is strictly for drag racing what is the best and quickest way to eliminate ASR completely without causing other issues. Have the final two big races of the year the next two weeks and do not have time to spend on this problem.

Any thoughts?

Default

My service ASR was always attributed to my TPS.
One other thing is different height tires will cause ASR to be affected over time, few miles.
And if you use TunerCat, or your tuner does, you can reduce all timing retard on ASR
Traction control vs Spark retard, Tuner Cat version AM I beleive
Also, when you did your throttle fix for the AS&M, did you reset your ASR? In the FSM
