4+3 Overdrive Question from TOTAL IDIOT

OK, I'm an idiot. I bought this car [update: a 1984 C4 Coupe], my first corvette, with no history or documentation, and me with no experience, background, etc. So sue me. I'm not sure what kind of transmission this thing has (I know, I know. It's manual. I'm not THAT stupid.)
Question: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that with 4+3 overdrives, the overdrive is activated by a switch or a button. If this is one of them, then WHERE WOULD THE BUTTON BE, EXACTLY?

the OD unit is pretty neat. when engaged and under half throttle and above 160 degree engine temps, you will have an overdrive on 2nd 3rd and 4th gears. with the switch off, acceleration is far better but gas mileage suffers. i use mine as a four speed and when over 55mph, i engage the OD unit. the button on my 84, like all other 84's is behind the shifter, in between the power window switches and is on the left hand side. its a simple rocker type switch. for reference it can be seen in this pic of my 84:
