Default burnt rubber/catylic smell
I ahve been experienceing a burnt rubber almost catylistic smell. Checked plug wires and all seem fine. Had two incidences where service engnie soon light came on and car was missing. Both times it cleared up immediatley and light went out. I am guessing catylic issues. What are your thoughts?

Most likely your O2's were out of range, but check for codes. That'll help trace your issue.

The rubber smell seems odd though. Got a heavy foot?
