I never heard of them, but the way I think (it may not be right) is I did a few mods to my car, (see my sig) and I think for what I have done to it, it runs pretty damn well... Anyway I just put in new 1.6 RR & figured while I was at it I may as well replace the plugs.. even though the original ones had only 36,000 miles on em.. I replaced them with the EXACT same ones the factory recommended.
The car was running so well, I thought "if it aint broke, dont fix it" There are so many so called miracle performance items that in reality are a bunch of BS
Example I never heard of someone switching to Splitfire spark plugs, & getting better performance.. not that it CANT be true, but I dont hear anyone saying it..
I'd say the same for the plugs you mention, they MAY be the best thing to come along since fuel injection, but I never heard of them..
I would think if they were SOOooo good you would have heard someone here on the forum saying how good they are..
they may not be BAD, but I personally doubt they will give you any improvement over your stock plugs, or maybe NGK .. I hear good things about them also...
Oh just as a side note... Pro Stock drag racer Jim Yates is sponsored by Splitfire spark plugs, last year I saw the plugs they took out of his Pro Stock car.. I did not see the name on them but they were NOT split on the tip... ?? hmmmmmmmmm I just wonder..
