Default Intermittent Code 36...

I keep getting an intermittent code 36 on my 89 L98. I have replaced both MAF burnoff relays, and recently installed a rebuilt MAF sensor with the screen cut out. I don't see any biuld up on the MAF sensor wire and the fault clears and stays gone for days even weeks. The car sees limited use maybe 150 miles per month and currently has 41XXX miles on it. The intake, runners, plenum, throttle body, and injectors were upgraded in 1995. SLP provided most of the upgrades. The car runs great and there is no noticeable stumble or loss of performance when SES light comes on. The only code thrown is a 36. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. :seeya

Did you replace both MAF sensor relays ?

If you did that and also replaced the MAF sensor itself, then the next issue might be the computer itself.

Rebuilt computers are about $100.
