the car is "tired" but stands us at nothing i guess but i agree, fixing it up is not economical, i was hoping for maybe a few minor repairs - a few trips out in summer (which is short in the uk) then i'll sell her for whatever she's worth!

The 82s are more valuable because it is last year of the C3 body style & has a operating/opening hatch which was only avalible on the 1982 corvette & normally the last year of any model is considered the best meaning all shortcomings/problems have been fixed.I personally think the 1969 & 1982 corvettes look the best.By the way C3 is 1968 to 1982corvettes.C4s are the 1984 to 1996 corvettes. The 1984 corvette is not worth much because it was the first year of the C4 & had many "issues".It is slow compared to newer cars, rides rough, had the cross-fire injection which does not have a good following-performance wise or else.I had a 1984 corvette & can tell you my 1994 is much better at everything. If you can get by with fixing a few things to enjoy it go for it.But if it needs alot of work & may not be safe to drive unless you sink abunch of money into it,it may not be worth it.By the way 1984 corvettes sell for $3000 to $5000 dollars(US) all the time.Repairs can easily exceed this if paying someone to fix problems on a 25 year old car.
