i was at the corvette expo 2002 last weekend and i saw a badass c5 that had strobes. the front side markers would strobe twice and then the front parking lights would strobe twice, as well as the back brake lights and reverse lights. I looked around but couldnt find the owner, and i was wondering if anybody knew where i could get a strobe kit that would fit my car.
I'm going to get shot for saying it but I've seen them in imports shops, and I think Pep Boys. They are illegal in California but I've seen quite a few on the streets.

If I was an undercover cop I'd do it. :hat
They are only illegal if you have them on while you drive.
There was a GS with blue strobes on it at the Corvette for america cruise over the summer.. looked great and certainly made it noticable. If you take your car in caravans or parades... I think they are cool.
C4Fetish, Vettewrench had a set of strobes on the Vette he brought to the cruise in last year. I thought it looked pretty cool. Drop him an e-mail at brian@vettewrench.com if you have any questions. :chevy

C4Fetish,
I was thinking of adding those strobes to the hood lights that are located on the inside of the hood. I think it would be pretty cool for sat night car shows. It should attract more attention to my car and light up the engine bay a little more. Not that my CE is a big deal. :D
BTW- get use to reply's like you are seeing. Opinions is what the forum is based on and you know what they say about opinions. :D
I have been going back and forth for over a year whether or not to throw some on mine. I have seen the cheapo ones at Pep Boys, but if you want the real deal, it is going to cost you a minimum of a couple hundred to get a basic police type setup.
You need to ge tthe ones that are for police and fire squads. they come with amp boxes that make it real bright. forget the import style ones, they are cheesy.

A little testy there aren't you young lady?!?!? :jester
Yes you can have strobes in a C4, I have had mine for over 4 years. I purchased the police strobe lights from Gails, they supply police and fire equipment. I have them in the rear back-up lights by the licence plate, the rear side back-up lights, and the front sides. The cheap ones that Pep Boys sell are very dim. The police strobes are very bright during the day and very blinding at nite.
