#1 thing - get a GM/delco filter and not some "made in china" crap! pretty easy on the 90 - i changed mine last summer. since i was installing a new exhaust, i didn't have to deal with the front y-pipe. seems to me i had to remove the passenger side heat shield between the exhaust and filter. there is a clamp securing the filter to the frame and its held on with, i think, a 10mm bolt. can't really remember the wrench size on the fuel lines, but i'm guessing 14 or 15mm. you'll find out when you get in there. ditto on the hex fittings on the filter... only other thing is to orient it in the right direction - sorta like the "green side up" thing - fuel filters on the early c4 are a snap - i've done both the 85 and 90 model years - my understanding is its not quite a simple task on the later LT1 models - ??? good luck - remember, half the fun in owning these care is wrenchin' on these cars!
